- Golf Resource Group GRG: Inception to launch in 45 days w/ first contract awarded for $526K managing Johnny Miller golf course in Salt Lake City UT.

NEBRASKA DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT - Innovation Initiative
Crop Ventures, an Omaha start-up, was awarded two grants from the Nebraska Department of Economic Development through its innovation initiative of 2012. The funds were used in the prototype development of a web-based agriculture management system. The grants were written and administered by Nick Newlin.
